Privacy

letsduck does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data off your devices.

What we don't do

HealthKit data

letsduck reads workout-related data from Apple Health (heart rate, distance, active energy) while a session is in progress, and writes completed workouts back to Apple Health so your activity rings stay accurate.

All HealthKit data stays on your devices and is governed by Apple's HealthKit privacy controls, which you manage in Settings โ†’ Health โ†’ Data Access & Devices โ†’ letsduck. You can revoke any permission at any time. The app continues to work for the parts that don't depend on the revoked permission.

letsduck never sends HealthKit data to any external server. We have no server.

What's stored on your devices

All of this is stored locally on your Apple Watch using UserDefaults inside an Apple-managed App Group shared between the watch app and its widget extension. Uninstalling the app removes this data.

Children

letsduck is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change how the app handles data, we'll update this page and bump the date at the top. The way it stands today: nothing leaves your devices.
